Skip the Small Talk Social Club 55+

Skip the Small Talk Social Club 55+ is a guided weekly gathering for those craving meaningful conversation, creative exploration, and a more genuine sense of community.

Each session offers a thoughtful mix of engaging prompts, shared reflection, gentle movement, and creative activities designed to spark curiosity and make connecting feel natural. There is no pressure to perform or reveal more than feels comfortable. You are invited to participate at your own pace as you listen, create, laugh, exchange ideas, and discover new points of connection.

Guided by educator, sculptor, and creative visionary Fran Bouwman, the experience engages the whole person: mind, body, heart, and spirit. Drawing from more than twenty years of teaching across art, theatre, philosophy, healthy living, and history, Fran creates an atmosphere where curiosity is welcomed, personal expression is encouraged, and every voice matters.

Whether you arrive ready to share or simply curious to see what unfolds, Skip the Small Talk offers a warm and refreshing alternative to surface-level socializing. Come as you are, meet new people, explore something different, and leave feeling inspired, supported, and a little more connected each week.
