Resonance is a nonprofit cultural centre in Collingwood — a hub for creativity, connection, personal and collective evolution.

Resonance brings people together through movement, music, visual arts, performance, education, wellness, and shared cultural experiences.

We are creating a safe, sober, inclusive, and accessible space where people of all ages and backgrounds can participate, express themselves, build meaningful relationships, and discover new possibilities within themselves and their community.

Our programming spans ages, interests, and community needs. Some experiences bring generations together, while others create intentional opportunities for youth, adults, older adults, families, and communities to connect, learn, move, create, and grow.

At the heart of Resonance is a belief in human potential.

When people have access to spaces that encourage creativity, connection, learning, and authentic self expression, they begin to recognize their strengths and what they have to contribute. That sense of empowerment reaches far beyond a single class, workshop, or event. It strengthens individuals, builds confidence, supports wellbeing, creates new relationships, and contributes to a more connected, creative, and resilient community.

Resonance is also a creative incubator supporting artists, musicians, facilitators, educators, and community leaders in building sustainable businesses and practices through sharing their gifts with the community.

We create opportunities for local creatives to develop their ideas, reach new audiences, collaborate across disciplines, and build meaningful work around what they do best.

This creates a powerful exchange. Facilitators and creatives gain the support and opportunities to grow. The community gains access to a wider range of experiences, knowledge, creative expression, and local talent. As each person shares their gifts, they create new possibilities for others.

Together, we are building a stronger cultural ecosystem in Collingwood and South Georgian Bay where creativity is supported, meaningful ideas can take root, and more people are empowered to contribute.

A space for your ideas

Resonance also offers venue rentals in Collingwood for workshops, rehearsals, performances, meetings, private events, and community gatherings.

Our flexible, professionally equipped space is available to artists, facilitators, charities, nonprofits, businesses, and community members looking for a welcoming place to bring people together.

Every rental also supports something larger. A portion of each booking helps Resonance expand accessible programming, support local creatives, and create more opportunities for the community to connect, learn, and participate.

Access is part of our mission

Cost should never be the reason someone cannot access a meaningful experience.

If finances feel like a barrier, we invite you to reach out. We can explore adjusted pricing, volunteer exchange, sponsored participation, or other ways to make attendance possible.

The Resonance Community Impact Fund helps us turn this commitment into action.

Donations help provide access to programs, support youth and community initiatives, invest in local artists and facilitators, purchase instruments and creative equipment, and make more meaningful experiences possible for everyone. From adding more drums to expanding programming and improving what we can offer, every contribution creates a ripple of impact throughout the Resonance community.

Resonance is also proudly sober. We do not sell or permit alcohol on the premises, creating a clear and welcoming environment where people of different ages, backgrounds, and life experiences can participate comfortably.
