Skip the Small Talk Social Club, Ages 55+

Skip the Small Talk Social Club is a guided weekly gathering led by educator, artist and mentor Jody Geddes, who draws on decades of experience creating welcoming spaces for creativity, conversation and connection. Through thoughtful prompts, gentle movement and creative exploration, participants build friendships, share stories, discover new perspectives, and leave each week feeling inspired, supported and more connected.

Please note the time change: this session, July 30th, runs from 5:00 - 6:30 pm

Jody Geddes

Jody is an educator, artist, mentor, and expressive arts facilitator who has spent decades using story, creativity, and movement to help people reconnect with who they are. After navigating her own profound personal and professional transitions — loss, reinvention, and the hard work of rebuilding — she became deeply committed to creating spaces where people can do the same. Her work is rooted in the philosophy of purpose aligned living and built on a simple belief: when life changes, purpose remains. Jody leads with curiosity, warmth, and a deep respect for everyone's story — because she knows what it means to need a room where we all feel welcomed, seen, and heard.
