Open Minds After School Fall Program - with Morgan D’Aloisio (Ages 7+) (10 Week program)

Wednesdays Sept. 16 - Nov. 18

4:00 - 6:00 PM

Open Minds

A place for kids to move, create, play and discover just how powerful their minds can be.

Led by educator and Open Minds founder Morgan D’Aloisio, each week brings a playful mix of yoga and movement, mindset practices, emotional freedom tapping, group games, creative expression and plenty of room to explore.

Morgan creates an environment where kids can be themselves, try new things and build confidence in who they are. Through movement, creativity and play, they’ll practice recognizing their emotions, understanding the connection between their thoughts, words and feelings, and using simple tools they can bring into everyday life.

After a full day of school, it’s time to shake things out, get creative, connect with others and have some fun.

*Cost is never a barrier. We’re open to trades and exchanges too. Reach out ahead of time and we will figure it out together.

*Want to join but can’t make every week? No problem! Reach out to us at hello@resonancecollingwood.ca and we can work out an option that fits your schedule.

Morgan D’Aloisio

Morgan is an educator, movement facilitator and the founder of Open Minds, a youth program created to help young people build confidence, self awareness and a stronger connection to themselves and the world around them.

With a background in education and more than eight years of experience in movement, mindfulness and embodied practices, Morgan brings together tools that support the whole child. Through movement, meditation, creative exploration, conversation and hands on learning, she helps young people develop skills for navigating emotions, expressing themselves, building resilience and discovering their own strengths.

Morgan’s approach is deeply informed by her own experience as a student who struggled within traditional learning environments. Rather than seeing children through a single definition of intelligence or success, she recognizes that every child learns, communicates and connects differently. Her work encourages young people to explore what they are passionate about, understand how they learn best and develop confidence in what they uniquely have to offer.

At the heart of Open Minds is the belief that some of the most important things we can teach children extend beyond the classroom: how to understand themselves, care for their minds and bodies, connect with others, think openly and move through life with greater confidence and possibility.
