The Art Circle - with Amos Marsters
Thursday Sept. 10
7:00–9:00 PM
The Art Circle
What would you create if you didn’t stop to question it?
Pick up the charcoal. Follow the shape. Reach for the colour that catches your eye. Add something to a piece already in motion. Then move again: a new prompt, a new medium, a new group and something completely different taking shape.
The ART Circle is a creative gathering with artist Amos Marsters built around intuition, movement and the unexpected. Through a rotating series of prompted art stations, you’ll paint, draw, sculpt, collaborate and play with the instinct to create first and judge later.
Follow the colour you’re drawn to. Make the first mark that comes to mind. Add to something without knowing where it began. Let your hands make a few decisions before your brain gets involved.
Amos brings together intuitive art making, movement and creative play to shake up our usual habits around creating. You’ll experiment with different techniques and mediums, collaborate in unexpected ways, and bring all of that energy into a piece of your own to take home.
You don’t have to consider yourself an artist. The fun is in not knowing exactly what you’re going to make.

Amos Marsters
Amos Marsters is an artist and art teacher with over ten years of experience across painting, drawing, ceramics and storytelling. Their approach is playful, intuitive and rooted in the belief that every child is already an artist. Amos encourages kids to experiment, make a mess, follow their imagination and trust their own creative instincts, because there’s no single “right” way to make art.
